Abstract

The article presents a study which assesses the long-term quality of life (QoL) of anal cancer patients after radiotherapy. The study used Functional Assessment of cancer Therapy-Colorectal (FACT-C) to evaluate Qol; thus, questionnaires was mailed to 80 patients who undergone radiotherapy. The study found that patients treated with radiotherapy for anal cancer has acceptable overall long-term Qol scores but with poor sexual function scores.
