Abstract: In this article the author discusses several market reports to explain the astronomical entrepreneurship rates in China. Ed Steinfeld, a technology expert, informs that China is among the most entrepreneurial places on earth. The author discusses the result of the 2009 Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) report, which reveals that China exceeds the U.S. in its nascent entrepreneurship rate, ownership rate of new businesses and ownership rate of established firms.
