Abstract

The article presents several stories concerning the military careers of the 64 members of the Slovene National Benefit Society (SNPJ) who fell as members of the U.S. Armed Forces during the Second World War. According to data gathered, 54 of them died in battles and six were listed missing. It notes that with regard to the data, it can be established that 35 of them were U.S. Army members, at least six of them belong to an independent Army Air Force and five were members of parachute teams.
