Abstract

The article presents a case of a 46-year-old man with Immunoglobulin A Nephropathy (IgAN) who was presented with hypertension during routine health examination in 2001. He was detected with proteinuria and haematuria with normal plasma creatinine and minor peripheral oedema. His renal biopsy showed a focal proliferative glomerulonephritis with mesangial segmental hypercellurarity and mesangial matrix increase. It discusses celiac disease (CD), IgAN, and renal disease progression.
