Abstract

Assesses the prevalence of specific antibodies to human T cell lymphotropic retrovirus (HTLV-III) in patients with lymphadenopathy syndrome, AIDS, and those at risk with AIDS in Rome, Italy. Information on the widespread HTLV-III infection to groups at risk with AIDS; Prevalence of IgM antibodies in lymphadenopathy syndrome; Idea on the spread of HTLV-III in compromised host.
