Intact PTH-producing hepatocellular carcinoma treated by transcatheter arterial embolization.

We report a case of hepatocellular carcinoma with hypercalcemia. There was no evidence of bone metastasis or increase in parathyroid hormone-related protein. The serum level of intact parathyroid hormone (intact PTH) was very high, and the results of the hepatic venous sampling suggested that the tumor produced intact PTH.
