Schlüsselkonzepte der russischen Kultur und geschlechtliche Stereotypisierungen: cmepßu3m und ƨπamyp.

The article discusses the study of Russian culture through looking at "established" keyword concepts with a long tradition that nevertheless may embody obsolete concepts. The example of the terms "cmepßu3m" and "ƨπamyp" is adduced to show the verbal preservation of outdated gender stereotypes in Russian culture. The author suggests that contemporary culture might be more fruitfully investigated not in the word usage in works of traditional writers such as Alexander Pushkin but rather in usage in the popular press and web communities.
