Abstract
- The author comments on the usefulness of a monetary commission in the United States. The author cites the work of economists, Robert Z. Aliber, William G. Dewald, and Scott Gordon. It is suggested that the economists do not take a position on the question of the prospective usefulness of the monetary commission. The author asserts that they should have used a cross-sectional study of a number of commissions according to type. The author also expresses criticism towards the authors for not offering ideas for the formation of a new commission.
