Abstract
- The article presents a study regarding the digital elevation models (DEMs) extraction of river channels and banks in a riparian forest, which is a new approach in digital photogrammetry. It introduces a method to capture and assess the photogrammetric data using a camera placed 10m above through a unipod. It involves the generation of DEMs through the process of using software and statistical filters. Results of the study reveal supplementary DEM checkpoints during the overall station survey.
