Abstract

The article focuses on the wireless communication services in Brazil. It was 1990 when the wireless experience in the country started. Cellular services were first deployed in Rio de Janeiro and Brasília. The national regulator of telecommunications services in the country is the agency, called the National Telecommunications Agency. Also noted is the official document of the Brazilian Ministry of Communications describing the Upgrading and Expansion Program for the Postal and Telecommunications System (PASTE), published in 1995.
