Abstract: The article discusses a study on the relationship between Vitamin D and cognitive decline or dementia using subjects from Italy. Adults 65 years or older were interviewed, underwent cognitive assessments and medical examinations and provided blood samples for the study. It was found that low levels of vitamin D were linked with substantial cognitive decline in older people during the period of study.
