Abstract

Studies the relationship between vitamin A deficiency and cervical squamous intraepithelial lesions (SIL) in HIV-infected women. Vitamin A concentrations consistent with deficiency; Cervical SIL associated with vitamin A concentrations; Other data indicating that vitamin A deficiency may contribute to the development of cervical SIL in HIV-infected women.
