Abstract

The article discusses various reports related to business failure and price increase in the U.S. BankAmericard and Master Charge report that delinquent accounts have increased to more than 5% of their membership totals as National Credit Card Bureau President Joseph C. Stewart Jr. stresses the growing number of deadbeats in the country. Jeanne Tanenbaum, an executive of the Humane Society of New York, mentions the decline of the number of registration of pedigreed dogs in the U.S. General Mills Inc. and 3M Co. have initiated their own bus services for their employees using twelve-passenger minivans.
