Abstract
- The article previews the 96th Kentucky Derby horse racing event in April 1970. It points out the failure of any outstanding contender for the 1970 title to emerge during the winter and spring semi-classics. Also examined are the performances of several racehorses including Personality owned by Hirsch Jacobs, Silent Screen, Cassie Red and Holy Land. According to trainer MacKenzie Miller, horses tend to develop in amazing ways during the time of the year.
