Abstract
- The author expresses his views on the services being rendered by the Talkeetna Air Service of Talkeetna, Alaska to its air passengers in 1972. The function of such air service is to ferry mountain climbers to the base camp of Mount McKinley. Talkeetna Air Service founder Donald Sheldon serves as a senior pilot and works with junior pilot Michael Fisher. Sheldon got his first job in an Anchorage dairy and experienced to work as a woodcutter, gold miner, construction worker, and trapper.
