Abstract
- The article discusses the inquiry into the athletic practices and policies of California State College in Long Beach, which started on October 4, 1972. It says that the NCAA Council ruled that California State University be placed on indefinite probation for no less than three years. The author adds that the probationary period covers football and basketball. Information on the letter received by Long Beach State president Stephen Horn from National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) assistant executive director Warren Brown is also presented.
