Abstract

The article offers information on the water boots, developed by Sub-Lieutenant Alan Hogarth, which he uses to walk on the Thames River, England. As stated, the boots, that were developed with the approval of Royal Army, consist of a pair of 30-pound, 4-feet-long wood and polystyrene boxes and have 'Walk Navy' lettered on the side. While his shipmates call his accomplishment to be blasphemous, Hogarth plans to patent his boots.
