Abstract
- The article focuses on the population explosion in the world. It informs that Thomas Malthus, the author of the essay on the Principle of population has predicted the severe consequences of the population explosion. According to the British novelist C.P. Snow, if the progression continues with this rate, millions of people are going to starve. The U.S. President Richard M. Nixon describes the population explosion as one of the most serious challenges to human destiny. It informs that India has a major population problem while Australia which has more than twice the land India has only one by forty of the population.
