Abstract
- The article presents a study which examined the relationship between animal movement and spatially explicit population dynamics across terrestrial and marine environments. It reviews modelling approaches that were used at different levels of organization. It also identifies key approaches for connecting levels as well as integrating empirical and theoretical approaches. Lastly, distilling directions for research are discussed.
