Abstract
- The article focuses on the Panhandle A&M College, located in Goodwell, Oklahoma, and the recruitment activities of its athletic department. It says that the college is a small one, run by the state, and that its students and staff prefer the name "Aggies" or "Plainsmen." The town of Goodwell is the nearest community, and its residents are renowned for their politeness and courtesy. Though small, the school recruits basketball players from high schools throughout the country, backed by a generous allowance which provides for scholarships, room and board.
