Abstract
- The article discusses the football match between the University of Southern California Trojans and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish which took place at the Notre Dame Stadium in Indiana in October 1967. It says that many were confident that the Fighting Irish would win as they were playing on their own turf, and because they had scored several victories earlier in the year. It reports, however, that the team lacked a notable runner, a kicker and a passer. As a result, they lost to the Trojans, 24 to 7.
