Abstract
- The article reports on issues concerning the plan of Montreal baseball team to join the National League in the U.S. According to the author, the franchise agreement for Montreal team has been delayed because team owners need to pay the initiation fee of 1,120,000 U.S. dollars to the league. Another issue for Montreal is the lack of major league stadium. The city officials in Montreal are planning to build a domed stadium by 1971.
