Abstract

The article focuses on the reaction of some Corsican natives to the repatriates who use them for political reasons. It mentions that in 1965, Jean-Louis Tixier-Vignancour who is running for president in France hopes to turn the wrath of Corsicans against his opponent Charles de Gaulle. It relates that the repatriates' attitudes failed to win over many of the natives. Moreover, the philosopher Farmer Zuccarelli says that the natives wanted autonomy.
