Abstract
- The article focuses on the technology gap between the U.S. and Europe. Commerce Secretary John Connor says that the gap can be called an industrial disparity in which the American activity is concentrated in high-technology industries which shape the economic life. It is attributed to Europe's failure in translating laboratory discoveries into sophisticated hardware and marketing its achievements. It is considered that Europe faces management and money gap in many ways than a technology gap.
