Abstract
- Information about several topics related to painting, which were discussed during a five-day workshop at the Art Students League of New York (ASL) in Manhattan, New York City is presented. It featured the painter, Burton Silverman, who is one of the prominent artists devoted to representational art during the rise of abstract expressionism in the 1940s and 1950s. Silverman talked about the variations between his approach to drawing and painting and the methods of others who teach art classes.
