Abstract
- The article offers tips for golfers on how to avoid three fundamental faults when they take the club back. These faults include picking up too quickly with hands rather than swinging the club back along the line, pulling the club up too close to the body, and starting the body action before the hands and the golf start to move pulling the body out of line. When checking the backswing in practice, the author sticks a tee about six or eight inches behind the ball on the line of the intended flight.
