"The Worst Education of All".

The article comments on a column written by a journalist who uses the pseudonym John William Sperry and published in the October 1950 issue of "Life." The column dealt with the competence of the teachers employed in U.S. colleges. According to Sperry, many colleges in the country employ an inferior faculty as well as an inferior student body. He adds that it is disturbing to know that most of the people in the field take this fact for granted.
