Abstract
- The article profiles 24-year-old singer and actress Rosemary Clooney. It discusses Clooney's personal background, the quality and distinctiveness of her voice, and her career as a ballad singer under Columbia Records. Her first solo is "I'm Sorry I Didn't Say I'm Sorry When I Made You Cry Last Night" and the Armenian-American calypso "Come On-a My House" which made her a popular balladeer. Her films with Paramount include "The Stars Are Singing" and "Here Come the Girls" with Bob Hope.
