Abstract

The article offers information on the magazine publication operations of McGraw-Hill Publishing Co. The technique of restricting the circulation of its 37 magazines to a select audience is being considered as the reason why the company has earned the reputation of being the biggest publisher of trade magazines. The profitability of the magazine "Business Week" under the supervision of managing editor Edgar Grunwald and editor Elliott V. Bell is also discussed.
