Creeds: How Irrevocable?

The article reports on the refusal of Reverend Edward O. Miller of Saint George's Church to read the pastoral letter prepared by the Episcopal House of Bishops in New York City. Miller argued that the two creeds, the Apostles' Creed and the 4th Century Nicene Creed, were out-of-date and that the present challenges for etymological definitions of faith come from materialism, secularism and Communism.
