Abstract
- The article reports on the number of tragedies that happened during any holiday in the U.S. The National Safety Council (NSC) predicts that 450 corpses will litter in the highways on the weekend of July 4, 1961. It notes that there was an increasing disagreement against the holiday custom and that the statistics regarding the tragedies were deceiving.
