Abstract
- The article reports on decreased profits by U.S. paper companies after it undercuts prices in an effort to keep their big machines rolling at full speed. According to President William R. Kellet of Kimberly-Clark Corp., the paper industry is not out of woods but is starting to be optimistic ahead. Furthermore, Chairman David Luke adds that the paper industry generates 12 billion dollars a year and if it took advantage of wood chemicals, it could double their sales since the materials are free.
