Abstract

The article provides information on the coalition government crisis of the Israeli Prime Minister Menachem Begin after the resignation of Defense Minister Ezer Weizman. Weizman portrayed his frustration over Begin's failure in establishing peace between Israel and Egypt. It states that Weizman was disapproving of the Finance Minister Yigal Hurvitz proposal of reducing military spending by 10 percent.
