Abstract

The article reports on the alleged establishment of spy stations and intelligence-gathering network in Iran by the Soviet Union. It mentions that the Soviet Union have been supplying the country with arms for its war in Iraq while KGB experts are helping Iran's revolutionary government create an intelligence and security force. It also notes, however, that what had been mistaken for a spy installation was actually a radio transmitter.
