Abstract
- The article reports on the plan of U.S. Airports to raise landing fees and passenger taxes to make money. It mentions that since 2008-2009 recession, the airport industry has not yet recover while the airlines have navigated back to profitability. It states that the move of airport industry is expected to open the industry to more autonomy which could lead to more competition and choices for passenger because it would provide them with a reliable revenue stream.
