Abstract
- The article presents information on a study which examined the longitudinal relations between time in bed, sleep quality as well as adolescent problem behavior. The researchers used a self-report questionnaire to assess sleep latency, troubled sleep, awakenings at night and the perception of sleep quality of children. They also assessed the approximate bedtime and usual rising time of children during schooldays. They found that the average time in bed of the participants was at least eight hours and 15 minutes.
