Abstract

Presents a study on bone mineral density until adulthood in girls with Turner's syndrome (TS) participating in a growth hormone (GH) injection frequency-response trial. GH treatment in combination with low dose estrogen; Evidence that untreated or GH treated girls and adolescents with TS have normal bone mineral densities; Finding that some patients with TS may not achieve adequate peak bone mass despite estrogen replacement.
