Mini Symposium: Race and the 2008 Presidential Election.

Information about several papers discussed at a Shambaugh conference at the University of Iowa in 2008 concerning the 2008 U.S. Presidential election is presented. Topics include an examination of white voting patterns in the 2008 elections, macro voting patterns using political psychology and individual-level survey data, and the effect descriptive representation has on minority voting in state legislatures.
