Abstract
- The article provides information on the Faster Than Sound concert series at the Aldeburgh festival in Suffolk, England in November 2010, which is organized by TEDx and Aldeburgh's New Music New Media course. It says that the event will bring together some of the dominant figures in contemporary music in one event. The author adds that composers and musicians are pushing at the edges of what computer technology can bring to music. The collaboration between composer Tod Machover, sound designer Ben Bloomberg and cellist Peter Gregson is also discussed.
