Abstract
- The article reports on the rise of shoe sales in the U.S. in 1936. Shoe manufacturers posted sales increases of 20% to 60% over 1935. The average actual sales of companies which participated in exhibitions rose by 50%. The National Volume Shoe Manufacturers Association held an opening in Chicago, Illinois to take advantage of the good business condition.
