Abstract
- The article discusses the need to protect private banks in the U.S. in the wake of the financial crisis in Europe. It presents U.S. President's proposal on war-debt payment which will be a financial relief for Europe. The impact the crisis had on the British pound and also the money market in Great Britain are mentioned. Banks were also requested to pool its funds so that the small banks can benefit from the resources of large banks in the U.S.
