Abstract

The article discusses the case against the commission structure of Biddle Purchasing Co. sells services for manufacturers ad price reporting services for customers. It provides conjectures on the case such as the issuance of a U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) order compelling Biddle to cease and desist from accepting and diverting brokerage commissions. An overview of Biddle's operations and commission structure is given. Also discussed is the exception in favor of services rendered.
