Abstract
- The article presents information on a study which evaluated the effect of a silicate fertilizer on the rooting of cuttings and subsequent growth of potted plants, Kalanchoe blossfeldiana "Kaluna" and "Taos" and Dianthus caryophyllus L. "Kazan" and "Tula." A review of the related literature on silicon studies is offered. Methods utilized include tissue analysis using energy dispersive X-ray spectrometer, and statistical data analysis. It discusses in detail the research findings.
