A Multicellular Basket for the Preparative Process in Electron Microscopy.

The new device has the top and bottom made of metallic nets with 1 mm mesh. The inside is partitioned into 6 small compartments with the same nets. Processing fluids can be changed through the meshes of the basket in a vial. In tissue preparation from fixation to embedding or drying for electron microscopy, each basket allows simultaneous treatment of 6 different specimens as easily as one in one vial, and specimens are handled without using forceps throughout the process.
