Prolonging lives of motorists.

This article reports on the experimental automobile collisions being conducted by the Institute of Transportation & Traffic Engineering of the University of California at Reeves Field in Long Beach, California to find out how to reduce the number of fatalities in road accidents. The institute received a grant from the U.S. Public Health Service amounting to 650,000 dollars. Some of the suggestions made by the institute after its experiments are presented.
