Abstract

The article offers information on the sewage treatment plant of the New Departure Division of General Motors Corp. It states that Albert Kahn of the Associated Architects and Engineers and Harry D. Unwin of the Kahn firm create the design and construction of the General Motors' New Departure in developing a system to manage industrial waste. It practices on the neutralization of alkalies, pickle-liquor, acid-bearing waters, and oil and water mixtures.
