Musculoskeletal: what's different in children? Pain and limping.

Abstract

The article presents a case study of a 4 year-old female with right leg pain and limp for 2 days who was taken to the Emergency Department. After the negative findings of her physical examination, no laboratory studies were obtained but a radiograph of the pelvis and hips. The article discusses limp, trauma, and transient synovitis.
