Abstract: A political risk report for Sweden as of August 1, 2010 is presented. The country's overall standing in the Global Political Risk Services (PRS) Risk Index is provided. Highlights of the forecast for Sweden include a low risk of turmoil in international business, 2.4% real gross domestic product growth and an inflation rate of 2.3% for 2011-2015. A 40% probability of center-right coalition rule is anticipated. The report includes an overview of Sweden's investment and trade climate, geography, recent history and social conditions.
