Abstract: The article discusses the petition from the United Packinghouse Workers of America under the Congress of Industrial Organizations (C. I. O.) on granting a guaranteed annual salary during the re-negotiation of their contracts. Additional demands are provided including increased in hourly minimum wage, removal of difference in wage brackets and a bonus to compensate the increased living costs. The government is also expected to mediate should a disagreement arises.
