Abstract

The article discusses a Web-based survey that was distributed to residents and fellows by their residency directors in all Canadian emergency medicine (EM) residency programs outside of Quebec. The objective of the survey was the characterization of the perceptions of EM residents and fellows regarding competence, both clinically and procedurally, adverse events, and perceived barriers to reporting adverse events to their supervisors.
